Dear all,
I have a new macbook pro 6,2 intel core i5 , 2,4ghz , 8gb ram
Also i have bought virtualdj pro full 7,03
Nevertheless my Digital jockey 2 interface edition from reloop is not reacting at all no buttons seems to function only when i set the functions through the key learn.
Can anyone or does anyone knows the same problem, and or has a solution to this?
I would be so happy if i can finally use my controller on virtual dj....
greetings,
Jeroen

After using Reloop Digital Jockey 2 Interface Edition for a year - here are my thoughts:
- Cup/Cue/Play buttons are horrible as far as durability is concerned. This also goes to most of the buttons on the controller, as well as Low/Mid/High push-potentiometers. I have been replacing the buttons on the motherboard a number of times. Now the controller is in the drawer, waiting untill i get my hands on changing these buttons with smth else altogether. That requires modding, and i just can't find anybody to help me with that in Lithuania yet... :-/
- the design of the controller is almost perfect for my needs. Such a pity that the build quality is no good.
- i will wait untill Reloop releases Controller only version of their new generation controller and pray that build quality is more solid this time around...

digital jockey 2 interface edition with virtual dj 7,03 or 7,04 is not being regocnized by the software.
I do have installed all the latest firmware and drivers, the controller should be regocnized but isnt by virtualdj pro 7,03 or 7,04
the controller works fine cuz in traktor my controller is working without a problem
i run a macbook pro osx 10.6.7
anyone has a solution to this?

Most likely your unit is either not responding to SysEx ID or is responding with a different response code that is not supported (E.g; Due to running different firmware.)
Please verify that it is responding to SysEx ID by using the MIDItrace tool on a Windows PC (Unfortunately there is no Mac version of this utility):
(1) Download the following program: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/miditrace.exe
(2) Make sure that only Reloop DigitalJockey is connected to your computer and all other programs are closed including VirtualDJ.
(3) Run MIDItrace and select the controller in both the input and output sections.
(4) Click on the SEND button.
(5) Copy and paste the result string that is returned.
(7) If you get no response then your unit does not respond to SysEx ID. Make sure that you have the latest firmware for the correct controller installed from http://www.reloopdj.com (Be careful - Firmware for Interface Edition and Controller Edition are also listed.)
(8) Please also type the name of the device exactly as it appears in the input/output sections of MIDItrace (The device driver name is used for ID in the case that it cannot be detected by SysEx ID.)
Also, check that you have NOT installed custom mappings and/or definitions for this controller. These may be conflicting with the native built-in mappings. Use Finder to browse /users/YOURNAME/Documents/VirtualDJ (On new installations of v7.0.3 and above this may be /users/YOURNAME/Library/VirtualDJ) and check the Devices and Mappers folders. Delete any custom mappings for the Reloop that are present in these folders.

You will need to purchase the full VirtualDJ Professional to use MIDI controllers such as Reloop Mixage:

Hi,
Im using the Reloop Digital Jockey 2 IE with virtual dj pro full (MAC OSX LION), but having real trouble configuring the sound. I have set it with advanced configuration but cant get the headphones to work properly. I cant get the headphones to work independently for deck A and B. Has anyone got a screenshot for their set up?
Much appreciated.
