Sujet: Sound only coming out of 1 headphone

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Hey guys,

So i just got my new gemini CDJ 203's and i hooked them up to my stanton m.304 mixer. I was previously using stanton vinyl turntables and they worked fine, never had any problems.
I got everything hooked up right and sound out of my speaker sounds fine, however when i cue up the right deck sound will only come out of my left headphone. The left deck comes out of my left headphone as well. How do i get sound to come out of my right headphone cup?
It is not a headphone problem, just tried it in my computer and worked fine.
also my cue for channel 1(left deck) is set to left and for channel 3(right deck) is set to right.
I am out of ideas! any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi mate

Two possibilitys. As your headphones would seem to be ok, check and make sure your mixer cue controls. Some have a split cue switch which allows you to select the cue ignal in 1 hp and the output in the other. As long as the signal comming from the left and right ouputs and feeding your amp/speakers is good my only other suggestion would be a damaged headphone socket.
