Ok, so you mean that instead of dj equipment (mixer cdjs ect) I should get a portable sound system and lights and be a mobile dj? :O

So change of plans.
0. Buy Virtual DJ Pro
1. Get the djm 800/efx 1000
2. Get lights
3. Get big powered speakers
4. Get a dj booth

the speakers at least, because nearly everyone got good speakers nowadays and if its a big venue I can borrow some and just charge the ppl that hired me?


for now i'll be helping out a friend of my dad who is a dj on fashion shows and art stuff ;p
get like 50-100$ per night if im lucky =D
 
i'm from NYC been useing VDJ the first week it came out as a pro
 
man...New York!! didnt want to say anything but..THE BRONX!!(ELECTRO started as Electro- Boogie,and became Techno! Manhattan, Record companys within walking distance everywhere!! dude youre in a great place!! im originally from B-Town and miss it! anyways whats inportant is whats in your HEART!..man youre feeling it? GO!! GO!! GO!! but gotta respect those with SKILLS my man..mixing with REAL VINYL its an ART! I mean ones style is only as hard or easy as you make it ..and practice makes perfect (ITS what i told,mostly cause it was a thing to say here in the WEST COAST) but yeah NEW YORK is DA PLACE! which i had never left...I was into Guitars and Synths then ,my Brother who i had not seen growing up,turnout to be the first DJ I seen way back and the minute i touched his original edition BLACK Technics I was hooked BUT took me a few years too say IM getting some TABLES man! (by the i moved back to California but man i Remember the Vibe with Music there...Its CULTURE, part of everyday living, Great place to do it Kiddo!!
