Hi Everyone.

I have just bought a Denon HD2500 and has been sent back today as the left Jog wheel when put into scratch mode would stop the song and also lock up the left deck. My question is this I am using CDex to rip my CD's to 320Kb CBR and they are putting the albums into seperate folders onto the External Hard drive. Is this good idea? if not can someone suggest a better solution IE would it be better to put all songs alphabetical order into 1 folder.

many thx

As a mobile op, I care nothing about having my tracks saved by album. Why would you need to reference what album something was on? I do decade and genre. So I have a folder for 90's and sub folders for genre's. Like 90's/pop 90's/rock and so on. In a few months I'll have to create a folder for 2000's! That's freaky.

I think most rippers will want to create a folder for the CD you are ripping by default. Just so you can keep up with that discs tracks. You should be able to change that if you want, but I normally would just copy those tracks out of that folder, and past them in the appropriate decade and genre.
