Sujet: Streaming video with Virtual DJ

Hi

I was wondering how its possible to stream .mp4 files to the Internet with Virtual DJ. I need a program like shoutcast but with video streaming functionality . Can someone help me?

On a similar branch of the same tree...

I would like to be able to stream from the live camera video/audio feed so that a bride's brother serving in Afghanistan could at least see the wedding reception via Internet from where he is stationed.

I'm not sure if the technology is there yet, but it sure would be nice!!
 
Well if u have got an webcam , u could use www.livestream.com

U can send audio and video but everybody can see it.

Im sure the technology is here :P
 
Streaming video from a web cam while broadcasting is one thing. Streaming music videos is another. I think you would run into major bandwidth limitations. Not to mention, needing one major bad a*s computer to stream from.

Agreed, the only way to do it without screwing the performance of your DJ laptop/PC up woudl be to have the output of your extended desktop going in to a dedicated media converter that would then do the streaming for you.

Is it possible with Windows Media Encoder or something?

It would be awesome if i could stream with VDJ to livestream.com / mogulus
