Which 4 ch MIDI mixer integrates with VDJ the best. (least trouble, easiest to configure, etc...)
I am in the market and I know there will be a lot of different opinions, but the has to be one
that seems to be the best match.

I personally use the Ecler EVO5 and it works extremely well.
The Allen & Heath Xone:3D and Xone:4D are 4 channel MIDI mixers as well. The DJM-800 is too - but is not as good for MIDI as the others.

Do you like the way everything maps to the djm700
I am interested in mixing video
I assume that the x-fader is a MIDI control

Does the crossfader fade video / audio via midi on the djm700?

I use a Ecler NUO4 and the crossfader can be used for the video crossfader and the audio.

It's not out yet, but definitely look at the American Audio VSM4. They really seemed to have stepped up their game here...
