Hello, basically what i am looking to do is have my DJ's connect to my computer (radio server) and i host the radio online.
I dont have any idea on how to do this but if i get this to work i am going to buy the PRO version So if any one has a radio server that i can set up on my server so that DJ's can connect to it with a password then please can you reply!
Thanks

If you host the stream server on your home computer, you will only be able to serve a very small number of listeners at once - your home broadband connection just can't upload data fast enough to serve very many copies of a high-quality stream. Every listener requires an entire extra copy of the stream to be sent to them personally, so if you're broadcasting at 128k you might only be able to serve three people before you run out of upstream capacity (and thus cause massive buf---fferi--ng for all listeners).
Using a professional stream-host service (can be done very cheaply - I'm happy to suggest the place I use, if that's not against the forum rules) means you send ONE copy of the audio to them and your listeners connect to their server to listen in. It's entirely possible to set that up so you can swap to another DJ broadcasting from somewhere else and keep the audience connected.

I've moved the thread to General Discussion since it wasn't a feature request.
