Sujet: How do I get sound to my PC speakers?...

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I just bought the new Hercules RMX and it came with virtual dj 5 and I was wondering how can I make my speakers on my PC play the floor music so I can mix with my headphones with cue?. I have the virtual dj 5 version, or the software that came with it. Do I need to upgrade to be able to do that?...

What im trying to get at is, I want to use my PC and its speakers as monitors...

Plug the speakers (assuming they are active being PC speakers) into the RMX directly.

Failing that, you would have to connect the RMX back to the line in on the PC and enable line in in the windows mixer playback section.

My PC speakers are connected through my PC with a strange connector that I know that I wont be able to use on my RMX. It has that green, pink, black color connections. I think I have to upgrade to the version 6 of virtual dj, cause to be honest, the 5 dont have that option/menu on the configuration window.

IF YOU WANT TO USE HEADPHONES W/ THE RMX YOU MUST UPGRADE TO THE 6.0 VERSION OF VIRTUAL DJ.THAN GO TO THE CONFIG. AND SET THE SETTINGS.

@spokie, please remember to cancel your caps.

@markian, just follow scotts advice, set up rmx as though you were going through a mixer in vdj config, get a lead with two rca at one end plug those into channel 1&2 rmx output, at the other end of the lead it should be a mini jack at the end to fit the sockets usually at the rear of of your desk top, look for the blueish mini socket (or check your computer setup for line in) and plug it in there, sometimes you may have to restart your computer to get it to see the new line in or it will sound distorted.

made a quick image for you, hope it helps.
