i am trialing the dj/kj and have got enough info on most of it and like them well enough, but is there a quick way to select a song and add the singers name? is there a kj plug ing manual for me to plough through? also like the idea of putting additional words on screen whilst the song is being sung (seen it done) but have no idea how to do it.
any help greatfully received

I run karaoke but haven't used any of the karaoke plugins, anyone?
 
I can't even find the plugins for Karaoke. I had them once before but stopped doing Karaoke for a while and after upgrading my computer never looked for it. Now I need it and can't find it anywhere on here. Running Version 5.2 Pro, but may upgrade soon. Anyone point me to this plugin?
 
if i understand you correctly all you need to do is select karaoke in the effects > video section and activate, give a name to your singer and drag and drop the tune to them and thats it.

putting extra words to the screen can be done in a few of ways here's a couple to be getting on with, 1) use the Firetext plugin, 2) use scroll text plugin.

but you'll not be able to use those until you become a pro user.
 
I am attempting to launch Karaoke plugin in VDJ, I only get a GREY SQUARE, no Icon, No activate Button, or anything to configure as described in Manual. I have installed , un installed, even installed on different computer. I am using Windows XP SP3. On other computer I get a message;

"This application failed to start because d3dx9_33.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."

On the original computer install, I am only able to highlight karaoke under video effects and can do no other action occures.

Also trying to download Fire Text and Scrolling Text from video effects downloads. It won't allow this either..says my license does not allow it. I can't evaluate this software if it don't work. The Karaoke is the primary interest in this program, again if I can't get it to work it is useless to me. I am trying to do a fund raiser show for ride for life and had HIGH hopes this would allow me to set up a Karaoke show for guest singers..Anyone that can offer solution or assistance appreciated..
