Sujet: Data Base Problem [FIXED in v6.0.5]

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Ok so i turn up at gig last night and set all my equipment up up and i come accross a problem.

Went to load first song by typing artist name in search box to find song which i know is in muy collection but vdj does not find any songs at all of that artist.

So i go into the folder on my external hard drive where i no the song is and there it is. I thought thats strange so go to the config to perform a fix/check database but when i go to select the external hard drive from the drop down box its not there the only drive showing is my C: drive.

So i restart computer to see if this solves problem. No luck.

VDJ Still ran fine but i had to manually go through all the folders on my external hard drive to find the songs i want (Lucky for me i have my folders on my hard drive sorted in genre order).

Can any1 shine any light on this as i am clueless to what this could be a have also tried today at home and i cant select anything but my C: drive

I had the same problem. I hope this work for you try doing a rescan of your whole external harddrive it should all show up again by adding your songs to the VDJ data base. Good luck DJ double "A".

Try the latest VDJ version, maybe you were one of few people affected by Database loosing info, it should be fixed there...

easier to manage your database manually
