True it should be in manual. But it's something like this:
reactivity - choice between new (fast) and older (slower) algorithms for graphics (sound too?).
read id3 tags - instead of filenames, you can select id3 tags to be shown in search window of VDJ.
write vdj tags - I believe that by enabling this functions, vdj stores cues, gain, bpm, comment (etc...) in the file itself (as id3 tag), so you can transfer songs between computers and have all mixing info with you.
