Hey Guys,
Well im getting tired of trying to scratch accurately on my little RMX jog wheels lol anyone out there any decent at using them? Im pretty sure im going to just break down and get two turntables and some timecode vinyl. I just want something cheap so what is a good low price set of turntables to go with the RMX? Also any preferences on which timecoded vinyl to use with virtual dj?
Thanks
Jim

Goof 4 scratch : Sync - Reloop 5000 or 6000 - Acura Akiyama - all are the same OEM TT . They are cheap and very good .
If U have the money : Technics Mk5 or M5G

You cant get a nice set of used 1200's for 400-500 on craigslist.

I just picked up two Gemini tt2000's of Amazon.com for under 300$ (shipping included). So far I love them, Played a practice 4 hour dance/hiphop mix last night. My only complaint is that the slip mats that came with them suck for scratching. They are way to thick. I ordered some butter rugs next day delivery so I'll let you know if that improves the scratching when they arrive tomorrow. The platters are very well constructed, the cases are plastic though and the paint seems to be cheap. Overall they look nice, a little toy like, but smooth. They match my hercules RMX well though. I'm using that as the mixer its sweet!. Oh and the tone arm needs to be balanced rather heavily onto the record, but your using time codes so who cares. All in all these tables work great for me, a new DJ who is inexperienced with Vinyl. Hope this helps PEACE!
