Been having trouble trying to internal video record. Mainly I was getting a codec error. I followed the advise in this thread:
http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/120406/General_Discussion/What_are_everyones_settings_for_internal_video_recording.html
but now VDJ is crashing after about 30+ seconds into the recording.
Here is the exact copy paste of the crash report. I guess it keeps a history log for all crashes??:
Crash ID=0875ff19 (date=805122137, version=5.0.7, build=507, thread=Main, dump=1ff8f4db, excode=c0000005 (0,ffffffff))

Is this a VDJ issue or something else?
Thanks.

Not shure - but 6.0.1 is very old. You should update to 6.0.5. There are so many bugfixes since your version...

Thanks and totally agree. I've been holding off with upgrading. Will definitely upgrade but before doing so I need to make sure the crash is not a VDJ issue. This way I can isolate and look into what made it crash.
Does anyone know what the crash report is really saying?
Thanks you.

Hey Win..by internal you mean recording within Vdj? in any case..yes.. the software logs the cratches, but just wondering..has it done this while using the sonique plugin and\or or stretching the screen size (the small screen that represent the output video )? and yes you should update to 6.0.5. its quik but after you do ,..if things are acting wierd,..reinstall drivers for your controller !

"dump=8b421451" was fixed in the last version 6.0.5 ("fixed invalid folder crash")
Other ones are external crashes. Which codec are you using?
(please delete the crashguard report file now)
