Sujet: Does this company do good for the customer?

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I bought the VJ basic for my Hercules Steel. I thought that the VJ Pro was for time code only, not knowing that VJ Pro works on the controllers as well. My mistake was to purchase VJ Basic. will the company bump me up for the difference or do I need to spend an additional $150.00 on the VJ Pro.

Hi mate

I believe there is a discount for upgrading from VDJLE versions to PRO.

Daz

The controller you bought works with the software it came with. Yes VirtualDJ Pro does work with all controllers but the cost is $299

Therefore upgrading using the serial is the company doing good for the customer as the upgrade is only $149 HALF the price.

I dont think I explaining myself right. I purchased the VJ Basic thinking that I was able to activate my Hercules Steel controller. Will I be able to purchase the VJ Pro for less due to the fact that my purchased of the VJ Basic was a error.

Let me tell you that you are getting an amazing deal! VDJ Pro is $299. You already spent $99, for an extra $150 you get VDJ Pro! so doing some math......$99 + $150 = $249 NOT $299.... so to say thanks for trying VDJ they are knocking an extra $51 off......

So your error is SAVING you cash... i should have screwed up like this....

I paid $299 & was the best money I have ever spent in my over 25 years of DJ-ing! I have made that back the first night I used the program!

hang on are you trying to say that you bought the steel controller (which comes with the VDJbasic software) aswell as another seperate copy of the VDJbasic software from somwhere? because then you might want to ask atomix if they will take the extra $99 you would have paid for the extra copy of the basic software (which already came with the steel controller) from the $149 (upgrade price) for pro
[edit] yeah i think thats what he has done because if you look at his name/avatar he has the console and the box of the software he bought, whereas i have the basic but only the picture of the RMX console, so im guessing he has 2 copies of the software now (one that came with the steel and the other he bought seperatley thinking he needed it to activate the steel)

well as it is now registered that can only be answered by the team.

Actually, all Basic purchases qualify for essentially a refund when you wish to upgrade.
In other words, Basic costs $99 and when you put your serial in the box at the bottom of the page the Pro price drops by $99 effectively giving you your money back towards the upgrade.

You are only allowed one discount per purchase, so if you have another controller that offers more you can opt for that.

If you bought Basic by mistake and which to have Pro, we can arrange a refund once the Pro version is validated with a swreg invoice number.

Either method renders the same results as far as cost is concerned.
