Sujet: Behringer B415DSP VS. Yamaha MSR400

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Was wondering if anyone had any insight about the two speakers? Which one is better, not just money but overall performance. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

i have the Behringer b212a/215a and they're similar to the b415dsp. and i have to say... i am in LOVE with these speakers. you will never expect this quality for the price. Behringer is hit or miss, but their powered speakers ARE the shit for the money. add dsp and a 15 in woofer and i think you have a winner.

Heard the yamahas and i was not impressed - i was expecting so much more and plus, imo they're overpriced. loud, but behringer is just so good on this on.

imo, save some money and just get a pair of behringer b215a - 500 powered 15 in speakers. prob save 200 per speaker

THe Yam stuff is very heavy

I've heard the Behringer and was impressed believe it or not.

PS, I would get the best one they do if that isn't the best one, still cheap.

Thanks for the input! A couple of places here in my town said they would not carry that crap... but I figured I would ask the people that actually use the product... Again thanks

btw. they behringers are 76 pounds. apiece.

if you're going mobile, again suggest get the lighter, b215a's. cheaper too.

I wouldnt buy the behringer or the yamaha because they can't handle a high power short burst over 600 watts. The behringer can handle a 600 watt short burst (peak.. Not RMS) and the yamaha can handle a 400 watt short burst (Peak Not Rms). The carvin speakers can handle a 950 watt short burst (Peak) More is better. When you crank up the music, the carvin speakers will sound better at 600 watts while the behringer is at max load and its sounding distorted and can blow

Yamaha a pair is 1,160 $.. 225 watts rms for lows & 75 watts Rms for high equals (300 watts rms) & 400 watts peak
Behringer a pair is 1,000 $...320 watts rms for lows & 80 watts rms for highs equals (400 watts rms) & 600 watts peak
carvin is 799 the pair and handles more watts " Continous " 475 watts RMS and the Big boom is 950 watts.. you do the math.

Caliente, those actually look really good - thought they would be so much more expensive.

but although it can handle that much - 975 peak, the amy it has can only supply 300lf and 50hf - so it wouldnt matter, 350 will be the amps peak when it distorts right?

350 is not the amps peak. The steady power (Normal Playing ) coming from the carvin amp is 475 watts regular, That is called RMS. The peak.. can handle 950. If you play the behringer at 475 watts and alittle higher, it could get distorted. The carvins play normal at 475 watts and can take more power because the peak is 950
