Hi freinds it seems as though when I load a song it skips aheads to a beat that is off trackwith a beat I am trying to mix. Is there a setting I am missing?

Maybe you have AutoCue on?
Go to config->options and check...If it's on, try disabling, then load a song to see if it behaves the way you like.

I had a similar problem where it would clip the start of a song from time to time. I discovered I had the feature "smart_play" enabled..Taking that off solved my problem.
