hi guys, im trying to setup my maya 44 pci and cant seem to get things to work. i want to try different latency levels but every time i try to change the latency of my maya44, i get the following eror message
MME multichannel - running!! please *stop* and *close* it and then try again
can someone please tell me what the hell MME mulitchannel is and how to stop and close it.
ive tried google but cant find anything of any use to my problem.

As far as I remember, ESI sound cards have their own control panel software. Make sure you have set the same latency value to both ESI's own control panel AND Virtual DJ's config settings.

as i say, i "cant" change the latency on the soundcard because i get an error message, which is why i posted in the first place.

ok, ive found out what it was....your gonna laugh i know but i still need to post my solution..
i diddnt close VDJ before trying the latency change in the ESI control panel.
thats it. close vdj... how did i miss that one.

all you have to to is disabling the mic and speaker or other devices using the sound card. this can be done in control panel, sound. after changing the latency enable them again.
