To avoid speaker damage dont be afraid of an amp with a higher wattage than the speakers.
This is because most speaker damage is caused by amp clipping, not over powering.
This clipping happens when overdriving low power amps, this is less likely with a more beefy amp.
So aim for an amp 1000-1200 watts RMS as a min.

Hi Mate
Power amps are rated based on producing X amount of watts into X Ohms. Check to see if the speakers are 4 or 8 Ohm. Most amps produce their max power into 4 Ohms. An amp rated for 1000W into 4Ohms for example will only deliver about 500W into an 8Ohm speaker.
If your speakers are rated at 1200 Watts it is worth checking to see if this is the Max Music power or RMS figure. The RMS figure is usually the truer rating when talking about amp matching.

I use this for a guide to which amp is good for each speaker..then you can get any amp of your choice..

@ Antho... I dont think those speakers are 1200 watts ......Make sure you look at how much those speakers handle in " RMS " not max.
Figuring out an amp to push speakers is very easy. It might sound complicated because of Ohms and watts but its easy.
