No sir. Exactly the same. I highly reccomend using vdj as VV has not been updated since 6.0.3. Some issues have been solved in 6.0.5. If all of ur data is in VV, Goto to the VV folder, copy everything and paste it into the VDJ folder. When you launch Vdj everything should show as it did in VV. Cue points, history etc. Make sure you test this first!!!!!!!!!

Well I already have VV. It was all Musicians Friend\Guitar Center had so I had assume they just changed the name. I guess I don't understand if they are they same why is one being updated and the other isn't? I searched but couldn't find hardly any info on VV on here at all.

Vdj is distributed by numark under the name cue or VV. When Vdj is updated, Atomix sends the updates to numark to be tested and approved. In my honest opinion, Numark is not focusing on VV anymore. If they were, they would have been released the update. I see that u are registered here. When u are signed in, under ur name u should see download center. That is where the VDJ update is as well as ur VV download. Which you will see the diffrence. If not, its like $50 to upgrade and then ur set(maybe cheaper). Free updates, tools and samples etc.

Notice I have the VV icon as well as the VDJ PRO icon.

+ If you go to numark, the latest Version they have is 6.0.2. So dont bother looking there. But i would still register ur software and interface. Register the interface because if u notice, the serial number is on a crappy sticker that has no life span. Mine is half-way gone.
