Actually when you close vdj and reopen it settings for the fx are gone ... if you need a particular time for "brake" fx for instance you need to set it every time, if you remember.

Exactly you're right but the only way to have that is to add in the plugin the action to save the data in a file. Some plugins have that (some of Kaleo and macourteau and some of mine), others no

I dont like this too, especially for brake fx i dont ike the default brake time.
But even with plugins who save their settings like the (16-32 band eq's),
you need to load the presets manually everytime.

well in the eq you can save more than 1 config so how can we load the good one with the plugin that's the reason why maybe only loading the first one or the last used. Why not... ask macourteau to add that in the function Onload() after his exams ;-)

2. vdj hold more fx than 3 with keyboard shortcuts (like cueing).
