Heya All,

I am in the process of Testing Virtual DJ using the Free 20-Day Trial, (Using DeckaDance at the moment).. I want to switch over to Virtual DJ but im having some issues with using Ms Pinky Gen 4 Timecodes

The Problem is that Virtual DJ recognizes the Timecode and the Quality is 100% but when i drag a song from the playlist to one of the decks the playback is very slow.. BPM Wise, First i thought it was my pitch slider that was set all the way down, but i checked this all out and its not the problem, I am clueless on what the issue is, Deckadance works flawlessly. I want to try and get Everything working to near perfectly and making sure its reliable before parting with my money and going over to Virtual DJ Pro.

Wild and maybe stupid guess - is your vinyl speed possibly set to 45? What percentage of pitch does VDJ display?

Hi There, Thanks for your Reply.

It's set to 33, I cannot recall the BPM Slider, but i have managed to get it work using the "Other Mode (relative only)" Option, but when i want to choose Ms Pinky 4Th Gen the audio goes all crackly and is static and really slow.

Hope I was specific enough - I meant the vinyl settings in VDJ.
You might want to post some screenshots with settings and display of the timecode windows.

Any updates on this? I need my Ms Pinky working too :(
 
I thought Ms Pinky were made to play the 33 rpm timecode signal at 45 rpm so you can mix records at 45rpm in torq where you cant select it, so you should set vdj to 33rpm in the options and play the record at 45rpm.
