Hey there,
i would use my MAC Version .. but i wait form 6.0.2 to 6.0.7 and the Waveform is still hanging and do not run very well.
When i started my XP on Bootcamp, there is no hanging on the Waveform.
On my Windows 7 64 Bit PC is the same bug.
There are so many Mac-Users with VDJ and noone got this issue?
Regards Max

After looking at the video I noticed your CPU was running unusually high. It seemed to be hovering around 80-90% all the time. When I run VDJ it hovers around 15%. I think it may be a hardware issue.

can you post a video with nothing playing?
try setting you performace all the way to the left, and put your latency on auto.

I was messing around with my timecodes and the pitch sensitivity setting in the 'debug' sub-window of the timecode set up window, and I noticed that if you have the pitch sensitivity set too high it causes the waveform to be quite jerky. Try playing with that setting and see if it works.

The CPU is to high cuz its recording this Video.
The normal CPU usage is 20 %.
I found a Guy in the German Forum with the same Bug.
There is a better Video:
U see the Waveform is not normal... this is the Bug i mean.
I set Timecode off cuz i use the Vestax Vci 100 .. i try a lot of things .. but i dont know.
My Macbook got now 4 GB Ram ... and nothing is better.
@DJ Cyder
Hm a Video with the Decks stopped?
Or what u mean?
So on .. Max

My waveform looks exactly the same but I never thought of it as being "jerky". Mind you I usually don't zoom in on the waveform that much. I don't know what to tell you, it's a wee bit jerky but is it really that big of a deal for you? Serato's waveform is smoother but not by much.

Hi, what is your performance settings?
Anyway, is this with the default decoder or using the quicktime audio for the mp3?
Can you test using the latter as your decoder for this and see if there is any change?

-My Performence is at the "fastest".
-My Decoder is Quicktime oder Mp3, doesnt matter.
I can change any Decoder... nothing Change.
Do u mean its the Decoder which produce this hanging?

Sorry, i send u a mp3 , but all my songs produce this .. :/
I have a new Info:
I testet SSL and Traktor ... THE SAME ERROR =(.
->I think it is the Driver of the Videocard...
All newer Driver produce this .. with Bootcamp XP are no Errors... even with Traktor and SSL.
I think its not VDJ`s Error ..

Hi Guys,
I'm the man of the second video. In my opinion, our problem is a teamwork of Vsync and Asiodriver. I use 2 systems with completely different sound and video cards. On both Windows 7 and Virtual DJ in the latest version on it.
Compatibility mode also brought no success. Argh....what the fu**.
Please continue helping us. This problem is killing us!!!!!
Big THX to all.

I have exactly the same problem with my Macbook Pro. The waveform display is not smooth.. Is like running on 10-15 fps. On my Pentium 4 (3Gig) PC with WinXP is running like a fluid...
I have this problem for the versions earlier than 6.0.
If someone hasn't look the smoothness of waveform running on XP it will belive that the motion on MAC is ok.
