I'm currently using the software version that came with my Hercules RMX controller. My questions is if there is any way to upgrade to Pro at the discount price but with a CD as opposed to an internet download. I just always prefered having a disc than relying on internet downloads(granted I have the disc that came with the controller so if this isn't possible that's better than nothing). Also, are there any controller features that are limited in the Pro trial as im deciding whether to upgrade or not and would like to know what features exist although can't be used at the moment.
Also, is there a detailed explanation on all the bells and whistles or the Hercules RMX controller with respect to VDJ, such as accessing multiple cue points, individual button assignments etc.
Thank you.

When you make the purchase for the upgrade you will be given the option to download or have the CD mailed to you. It cost a couple bucks more for the CD.

Hmm I don't see this option on the form. It autosets delivery method to download with no drop down menu for other options. Am I missing something?

how are you getting to the purchase page? I think I did it through my profile, when I was LE user I had an option to upgrade and once I selected to upgrade I was given the choice to purchase and download or purchase and have it mailed to me, which cost like $5 more. I selected the download.

I'm just clicking buy on the top menu bar. Then I click upgrade.
Although nowadays it seems download is the way to go. Accessible anywhere and if I need to reinstall I don't need to wait until I go home so to speak.

when you have upgraded you can if you wish put a copy on to disc, but no need really as you will always have a copy available in your download center, here you will also find any future updates.

Ok. Just weird to break old habits of always owning a dic for my software :P. When I bought Reason I was given a CD and a nice credit card like liscense.
Now that that's settled, on to my other questions lol.

I know where your coming from, but with free lifetime upgrades, your CD will only be valid for a relatively short period of time...
As long as you retain your profile, you will always have access to the latest verion in your download centre as Tayla has stated.
If for any reason you need an older version, just raise a support ticket and the version you request will be made available to you.
You can always download and burn to disc yourself if you really feel the need...
