I know there are a million threads with timecode advice, but I've read a ton and none seem to be able to help....
Basically, my problem is that my timecodes signal swings wildly from 1% to 100%. They show up and are recognized fine and my soundcard is working perfectly. I've played around with settings in the timecode configuration and in VDJ config, but nothing seems to help. Any suggestions?

The only thing I can think of is if you're using "side A" on the Serato timecodes make sure that "side A" is selected in the config menu. Using the wrong "side" in the config menu will result in the problem you described.

Thanks for the response, but I am using Side A with the "Side A" setting on.... do you think it's possibly hardware issue within the sound card?

I forgot to mention, the other things that can cause the timecode signal to fluctate is dirty/dusty or worn out timecodes, worn out needles, or too much weight on the headshell (i.e. incorrect turntable set-up). You might find if you get new needles and timecodes that the signal will be steadier.

I'll try cleaning the needles and the records, but the vinyls are also brand new (I opened the package 2 days ago).
