Had a terrible gig last night! Half way through the mix I was doing, VDJ automatiically put the playing track into a 4 beat loop, and brought up the effects menu. I clicked loop out and all was fine for 5 seconds until it did it again. Looped and brought up the menu. I had to keep clicking off this until the end of the song, when I transferred the audience onto some CDs.
I restarted VDJ and all was fine in the first deck. I loaded a song up into the second deck. Then as i was crossing the songs over - nightmare - the play button wouldnt work. You pressed play and nothing happened. Basically, the right deck had broken. I had to stop the mix, drag another song into the first deck and play (there was a 1 seconds or so gap of silence). So I loaded a CD up again, restarted VDJ AGAIN. Both decks worked this time, but the RMX didnt. I unplugged the RMX and plugged it in again. Still nothing. So i had to restart VDJ for a 3rd time, and then all was well. For 30 minutes, when the loops started again.
I had to repeat the whole process around 6 times that night (including one laptop restart). Does anybody know what could be causing this? It's a fully valid VDJ Pro license, downloaded from the download cenre here.

First, make sure that you have the latest firmware and drivers for the DJ Console installed. A link to download can be found on the following page: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Common_Device_Drivers.html
Next, try reverting back to the factory settings. If you have an older or customised map installed, then this could be the cause of the problems. If you customised it yourself and wish to keep (Backup) your old settings, copy the mapping file from My Documents\VirtualDJ\Mappers first.
To revert back the factory settings, go to CONFIG -> Mappers, choose the RMX in the drop-down list and then click the reset to factory settings button at the bottom-left of the dialogue box.
