Which is the best 19" controller for use with VDJ?
I use the DMC2, which is fine, but is it worth swapping to the HC4500. What are the pros and cons?
Please ONLY post if you have personal experience of both units.
Many thanks
Gary

HC-4500 is excellent, has a built in Asio sound card and is fully mappable to your personal liking by using VDJ script.
Had my one 2 years and it has been faultless. Best 19" controller by miles!

I only have used HC-4500 and Pioneer MEP-7000, not DMC-2. HC-4500 is a very good controller and works fine. For me Denon HC-4500 is better than DMC2 in design an how it works (for what I read about it),
(about MEP-7000 has better sound and finish than HC-4500, but cost more).

I used to mix with a DMC2. Since i bought an American Audio DP2, i feel like i found what i need. Really stable, awesome buttons, more than enough functions. You really dont need the display. So, dont forget the DP2.

Hi ACW,
I really like the look of the MEP-7000, but when using this unit to control VDJ do you still have access to all the functions and effects that the MEP-7000 can do or are these only available if playing CDs from the CD drive bay? Also, as I understand it the sound card in this unit is in the optional drive bay unit?
Many thanks
Gary
