hello everyone.. my laptop is running a little slow every time i load a song the green cpu bar is full green, so am thinking give my laptop a break and take all the music out and into a external drive, question is would i need to anylize allover again and r my virtual playlist going to find the song on the external???

If your music is on a drive other than C:, you can reassign the drive letter. For example, if your music was on drive D:, you can tell windows that your new hard drive is drive D: and the internal partition is E:. Keep in mind that if you have anything else on that internal partition, it probably will not work. So if you installed a program to it previously it will stop working.

There are other more technical ways to do it but I will save you from that pain. If you keep your folder structure the same, fixing your playlists will be less painful.

100% CPU usage is normal on a single core or lower specification computer (E.g: Netbook)

It's nothing to worry about unless you get sound break-up/stuttering.
 
You can manually edit the XML database using wordpad or equivalent, just use find/replace to point to the new file location.
 
...or plug the external hard drive in and move the files/folders from within Virtual DJ. This will then update the database at the same time keeping all your cue points, play counts, etc...

I second that. This way will save you a tone of time and hassle.
