Hey Guys, question for you Mixdeck users. I just purchased this thing and waiting for it to arrive.
My question is, when you are using VDJ, and need to switch to CD or USB (a stick), do you lose the connection to VDJ, or can you easily switch right back? I'm asking because I currently use the Denon 1200/x120 setup, which I love. but once you switch to CD or USB, it kills your PC midi/asio connection to VDJ and I have to restart the laptop before I can switch back to PC.
Thanks for your help!

No you don't loose the audio connection with the PC/Mac - it's because it's a true Hardware switch at the mixer like on a traditional mixer going between CD/LINE or PHONE/LINE with the MixDeck you get AUX/USB/LINE

OK, great, thanks! This is what's now confusing me...if you use the toggle switch on the mixer to switch back and forth...then what is the source button for on the players? What worries me is when I go from CD to PC on the source button, that's where I lose the connection to VDJ (exactly like my Denon 1200's).

The Mixdeck loos like it can be a nice portable unit for small private parties. I hope its a functional / stable unit for VDJ
