first off sorry if this is in the wrong forum or has already been answered
I have been using virtual dj for 2 months now and I think its time i picked up some cdj's and a mixer. I have been looking at this package

it seems to be a good price and have everything i would need to start with virtual dj. As for the soundcard ive been looking at

it seems a little more expensive then I would like but it seems to be like i need it.
My question comes here, with thoes gemini cdj's and the mixer would i be able to get thoes to work with virtual dj and the soundcard? If they wouldent work do you know of any other options in a fairly low price range being I dont have a lot of free spending money at the moment.
If you could help that would be amazing, just want to make sure I know the details before I throw down that much money.

You can use that to work with VirtualDJ, but you need VirtualDJ Pro. If you don't buy VirtualDJ Pro, then you will loose all benefits that you may need to setup all this correctly and receive free updates of VirtualDJ Pro versions.

i have vdj 6 pro but havent registered it, should i still work if i click check for updates in the program itself

Maybe you buy it from a fraud source (there are many sale DEMO versions as pro versions). You have not buy VirtualDJ in here (or not using your current user), so you will not have any access to anything in here because of that. Also you may find your current version will not perform well or could have weird issues with it.
My recommendation is go first for VirtualDJ Pro, or maybe for Hercules DJTRIM 4&6 soundcard with VirtualDJ Vinyls and a LE version of VirtualDJ to use timecodes. This last option is about $299 usd and is ready to be use out of the box.
