Sujet: Samples wont sync......

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I have read a ton of old posts but none answer my question. This 1 comes close, http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/121166/PC_Version_Technical_Support/VDJ_create_samples_.html?search=samples wont sync&page=1, but its not the answer.
Ok all my samples are in wave format, they load up in the sampler and play just fine..............my problem is that they do not sync to the beat. What am I doing wrong?? Please dont say I have to go back and record them all with VDJ either...........that would really suck and take forever.

Huey! this is supposed to be it BUT I've found out it dont allways work.Im pressuming you allready tried clicking edit options,then loop,so you see the sync option then select sync ?
 
I haven't use loopin samples for a while, but back then I discovered that some of them were not sync. with the music playing because vdj was not able to find out the sample's bpm, so to fix this I tried using longer samples ( 8 counts instead of 4) and then it worked.

yes...i have noticed this but was'nt sure...if the sample is longer it gives the sync analizer a larger waveform with more peaks (therefore a bigger and better "picture" to analize,makes sense!!
 
If they're not long enough, then just extend them in "Wave pad" , sample one till you get it right.

OK I have figured out how to record them so that they sync but now I want to record jingles and its not recocrding them (a ton of movie quotes)............I thought you could choose between a "LOOP" or "JINGLE"?


OK nevermind I got it. I was recording some drum loops before I tried to load my movie quotes. Well for some reason I had to restart VDJ in order for them to even show up. Anyways I got this ish figured out now!!

To have perfect sync best way is using internal recording.

The real problem of sampler section is that it haven't master volume or GAIN for each sampler-channel and this give problems is you want to use it in external 2 channel mixer configuration. The volume of the decks is increasing than that of samples.

I'm realizing an advanced mapping for nano kontrol to control sampler section.

sampler sync?
Something tells me they are sync'd to the CBG and not nesseseraly to the beat. If the CBG is slightly off, then the sampler will be off.

As i dont use the sampler that often i dunno 100 about this :(
