I cannot get the audio to come out of two channels without distortion. If I set my config to "single output" the audio is clear but only comes out of one channel on my mixer. If I change the settings audio is distorted.
any ideas how to fix?
Thanks

Go > Utilities > Audio Midi Setup.app
Your 4500 should show as something like USB audio 0 in / 4 out
Click on it and check that the output tab has format 44100.0 Hz and it all looks correct. The HC-4500 uses the Apple inbuilt drivers and should work perfectly first time.
All the settings for the HC-4500 Asio sound are in there.

I had the same problem with Numark's V7, i accidentally double clicked on the latency and found that if i mess with it, i can get the audio to clear up...
A side note, i could not get the V7s to work at all in VDJ until i updated Itch... Once this was done, VDJ allowed me to map the controller, and use the built in sound card... Prior to the update all i got when i clicked on the sound card was an Apple Audio error message...
