Use an external mixer with the RMX for better eq as i find them on the RMX to be a bit hit or miss if so, how is it setup correctly so that you can record the mix.
Help with this would be appreciated.

I run my sound out of my RMX, and my VCI300, into an external mixer. Not, however, a DJ mixer. I use these they give the added bonus of two mic inputs with great British EQs. Also, I can run more than one device through them at a time. Allowing my friends to pop their systems into mine.

Hi thanks for your response what settings on the rmx do you leave the eq's on, to then use on the other mixer?

I don't mess with the EQs on the RMX at all. When I need to EQ I use the Berhinger unit.

How do I set up my record case I store my music on Itunes I have started putting some stuff in playlists but I don't know if I'm doing it the right way

As Teary says the Xenyx range of mixers are superb - and not expensive. I used to have one before I went to external mixer mode...
The Mic inout on the RMX is it's worse feature. The Xenyx will cure that and then some. The 100 FX will allow you to do some crazy mic stunts. Good for Halloween etc.
