Ok I just bought a new laptop for video mixing
with the registry hack found in the forum I am able to get everything working great!!
BUT After about 1 hour of playing the entire program freezes and I would have restart.
It did not recover on it\'s own and I can\'t find a crash file
MY Setup:
1x Asus G73JH
-Windows 7 Home Premium
-Intel Core i7-720QM processor (1.6GHz/2.8GHz Turbo Mode, 6MB L3 cache)
-ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 1GB GDDR5 graphics card
-6GB DDR3 RAM
2x Denon DNS-3700 (Not using sound card)
1x Maya 44 USB
1x External HD
1x Pioneer DJM 600
I have optimized the system disabled unused devices and still i get this issue.
I seems to happen only when "loading videos". I have played auto for 6hr without issues.

Please explain what changes you made.. and what "settings" you used for the 'registry hack'.

I was able to make it freeze again but it wasn't the same as before.
my laptop's powercable was loose and the batter died... then I guess it tried to go to sleep but instead:
Freeze (date=1005250013, version=6.0.8 Pro, build=608, thread=Video)
Well After playing for 3 Hours I was able to get by without any crashing, but I do have a few questions:
1) Is there a known issue when running video from a window on the same screen
The reason why I asked this is because the last time it crashed I did not have a monitor hooked up and I was playing video
2) If automix is turned on in deck 2, deck 1 will not load the entire video
3) have anyone seen the Dorrough Caremel Sunday Video.. that was shot here in Dallas... Look for the wired to the T Video I am in it!!
LOL

?? nothing ?
Well I gotta say I think I fixed it... but I didn't really do anything..
LOL!!!
I think it has to do with me using the Video in a window.
