Ello! I'm a mobile DJ and have been using VDJ for several years with a company. Last year I decided to man up and buy the program for personal use.
Will VDJ will eventually get support for USB microphones? Currently there is no option. I understand there's a latency issue if you plan to use it for live shows, but having built-in support for a computer mic through the main channel would be indispensable for internet broadcasting direct from a computer. I have to use an external program to broadcast so I can use the mic, and as you can probably imagine, it's not exactly ideal. I also don't want to set up my Denon HC4500 and X500 every time I want to broadcast simple shows.
Hopefully this question will be seen and answered by a developer, but I would like to know if computer mic support would benefit other VDJ users. Thanks in advance guys. :)

I think you already can use a USB mic with VDJ.

My blog is set up for Pro users and above to see. I hope too see you purchase a full Pro version, so that you too can read how to configure a USB mic to run with VDJ someday ;^)

Simply select which ever sound card your using for the mic. Then run the set up as I laid out. I have set it up with 6 different soundcards now, and they all use the same set up.
