I just wanted to let folks know that, in my case at least, it's not a good idea to try and connect a mic mixer to the RMX inputs (1/2). When I did this, there was a very noticeable delay between voice input and output from the RMX itself. I think that, because the input is not really analog, latency plays a big part in this type of setup, and unfortunately, mine is set rather high to help with keylock issues (960[21ms]).
If anyone has done this successfully, please post your specs and settings that worked.

Hello discjockeydoc,
Why don't you connect your mic mixer to DJ Console Rmx microphone plug rather than to the input 1-2?

Mic volume is just too low from the RMX mic input, so it's of no use. Thanks for the idea, but I am going to stick to my external mixer for mics for the time being ;)

To that end, I've recently replaced the TWO mixers I used to run in my system with a Behringer Xenyx 1202FX. I think that it's a great, albeit little, solution for the mobile DJ/KJ ;)
In fact, its size speaks to its portability!

Are you doing karaoke that you need multiple mics? I use the Behringer 1202 with a Numark NS7 for mic support and it works perfectly, great lil mixer.
