Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Hey people,
im having a few problems with my timecoded setup and was just out to get some help.

My setup is the following

2 x reloop rmp1 scratch
1 x behringer djx1000
1 x maya 44
1 x hercules dj control mp3 e2
1 x asus g50 laptop
Using serato Scratch live timecoded cds

The problem which im having is the following,

1 Im getting very very low signal at all times (under 10 percent) and sometimes the cd will just randomly start playing backwards

2 - The touch sensitive platter wont allow me to brake and speed up the track, only scratch with scratch mode on.

What could be the cause of these problems

You are in sound saturation on the inputs. That's why you have a square instead of a circle.

Try to set down the knob gain..it seems strange anyhow.

Let us know what happens when you do what I am suggesting.

in the asio config for your maya make sure to drop the volume down on the inputs. you should end up getting them squares into circles

Alrite ladies and gents, that worked beatifully, now ive only got one more little drama, and that is.

everytime i go to slow down or speed up the track, instead of the pitch staying the same and just the track moving, the pitch bar goes ******* and moves outta pitch like crazy and then 2 seconds later comes back to normal again.

im still using the reloop rmp1 and the behringer djx 750

the settings are as follows on my rmp1 on both

scratch on
pitch range is 8 %
pitch bar whether turned on or off doesnt make a difference,
the only time i can brake and speed up the tracks normally is when i have key lock activated on the rmp1 however, when i slow down the tracks with key lock activated they start stuttering and digitising very very badly.

any one got a clue why it might be doing this?

This is good advice...thanks!
