I'm running on an XP3 laptop (more info if needed) and can't remove the Hercules HDJS 4.0 driver nor can I even launch the control panel.
Can't even uninstall in "safe mode".
All I'm trying to do is use my RMX and for some reason the laptop decided to stop seeing it =(

The driver package has the uninstall built in, you actually run it twice in order to update the drivers.

Also on Hercules download page it states that after you uninstall, you have to restart your computer for the changes to take effect. After you power back up, you then can install drivers.

If you can't unsinstall even in safe mode, then there may be corruptions with the Installshield files on your system. Try the following:
- In the root directory or your main hard drive (usually C:), under the file Program Files, find the folder called Installshield Installation information (it's possible that it might be invisible so change your folder visibility properties to allow to view all files).
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/helpandsupport/learnmore/tips/hiddenfiles.mspx
- In this folder, you'll find many subfolder archives related to software installed on your computer. One of them is related to your product.
- For each folder, you'll find a file called SETUP.INI. Opening this file to find the name of the program it's related to (ex; APPname= xxx).
- Find all instances related to Hercules DJ and remove them from the computer (make sure they are not present in the recycle bin)
This should allow you uninstall the drivers afterward.

I had the same issue. I installed the latest driver and then I was able to uninstall the whole thing.
