Hi
I am relatively new to the world of laptop based mixing, having used cdj's and what with all my music being d/l i thought i would try out some programs.
I bought a numark omni controller and have a hp pavilion running windows 7. omni ships with traktor which i have been using, i have downloaded virtualdj and find it more user friendly and for me personally better to use.
I do have a query tho before i purchase a copy, on traktor the two banks of controls at the top of the controller ( fx amt, filter amt, fx on/off etc) control fx etc on the respective deck but on virtual it doesnt seem to do that rather one side does fx for both decks. i haven't changed anything, it is as the demo downloads.
My question is can the two banks be assigned to the respective sides?
Can anyone tell/show me if/how this can be done?
Also on traktor there is a filter assigned to filter amt controlled by the filter on/off button. can i set this up also as on virtual it changes the key and i find that annoying.
