I have Xone:1D and I was able to map it just fine. Granted, it does require some time and reading the scripting documentation is a must. However, at the end of the day you can map it just the way you want.

A lot of people might me put off by the lack of out-of-the-box support and overlays, but in a way I understand it...there are so many different ways you can map the Xone-series controllers, that one mapping/overlay would never please everyone.

One of the major issues with the Xone DX was the master and headphone volume was on channels VDJ didnt support. So that limitation didnt really make working through all the mapper issues worth it.

Wish I had seen that post - there was a workaround to use different asio channels ;)

@AuralCandy.Net - In the case of the DX you can map the majority of the functions using the quick mapper UI; however you can not map the encoder knobs (which are in the FX and Loops sections, as well as functions as a Pitch.) You also can not map the jog wheels. When you do it goes form 1 extreme to another when you dial up or down. Which means you have to do a definition file. Which means you have to do the entire mapping, which means the UI does you no good. I did not find the scripting documentation helpful, and the support ticket had alot of information that made it useful. My issue was understanding how to get the right MIDI values to use in the script vs what the MIDI tool provides. I used to write COBOL, Java, PASCAL, and other languages and it just was too much for my little and older mind to understand. Between my day job and DJ gigs, I just did not have the time to figure t out.

@SBDJ, I can send you the ticket if you wanted to review it. It was pretty helpful, but like I said the MIDI translation was just beyond me... and once I realized the channel mapping limitations I just gave up.

Right now, figuring this out is more of a nice to have right now. The Xone DX works really fantastic with ITCH (no offense), so I am not really stressing too much. However like I said my original rationale was I could use the DX with all 3 major packages. So if it can easily be made to work, I am all for it.
