So basically the platter is working on timecode internally without the cd's...
Does the platter not work well in midi? Sounz like a workaround?

Prior to this update, in order to use timecode you needed CDs or the timecode in mp3 loaded on USB drives (which was the method recommended by Denon). Now the timecode signal is generated internally by the unit without the need of CDs or USB drives.

when you have timecode you have no effects
with the update you will have both tc and midi at the same time
