Hey guys, I finally got my hands on a cdj-400. My question is if I can use it on one channel in PC mode and a Timecode phono on the other channel? Im using the hercules rmx currently.

Short answer: No, at least not the way you're planning... It would be best if you use it either as a controller (for both decks) or with TCD for both decks.

watched that video many times, very helpful I might add. After toying around with it i came to the same conclusion. Ive already ordered my numark x7, the site its available sept. 2nd hopefully It will work on the aux channel and I can still use timecodes on the others.

I don't know if its because of the new version or what but I thought I would let you all know Its working now. I'm using 1 channel timecode with my technics 1210 and I've got the CDJ functioning fully in PC Mode controlling the other deck on channel 2 of my RMX. What a treat, I'm, really happy this is working. I've got a gig with limited booth space this thursday, now I can bring 1 TT and 1 CDJ with some room to spare! I've found running the CDJ in PC mode is much better than using it as a timecode CD. Plug and play, CHAA!
