I am currently running VDJ 6 on a MacBook Pro.... two Denon S-1200s as my controllers.
(Sorry if this has been answered in the past.... but I couldn't find anything in the searches)
I am trying to use a 3rd sound card to strictly play samples that I can connect to my AUX Line on my mixer. Right now, the samples play out of the S-1200 cards.
When in config, why is TRIM the only option for 3-line mixer? Is there a way to set it for 3 outputs? (Denon s-1200 (1), (2), and either a USB soundcard or the macbook soundcard for samples) ?
- Thanks in advance to anyone who can help....

Yeah, the Hercules Trim option is really weird. Happens to me as well when I use my Denon DN-X1600 in 3-channel mode...it works though, so it's just a bit confusing.
This is going to be a hunch since I don't have your hardware to test with, but as far as I know you should be able to archive your goal like this: create an aggregate audio device and combine both SN-1200's and the third sound card to it, in VDJ choose the aggregate device as your sound card and choose 3-channel mixer mode.

I am curently trying this as well, and i set up the device as followed: Hercules DJ RMX (4in/4out) + onboard soundcard (2out)
but no luck with that... anyone else ideas?

You can't use the 3-channel feature with Hercules RMX because it has only two channels. In a way it's might be bit confusing how devices like RMX are described 4-in/4-out because they have stereo-channels, but in practice it means you still have only two channels.
