10 minutes into my gig I noticed the output screens were blank. Checked and the power light on the PCtoTV Convertor was out. I power the PCtoTV Convertor and my cooling plate from a powered 7 port USB hub. The USB cable from the hub to the cooling plate has blue lights at each end so I know if there is power passing thru. They were not lit either so I knew it was the hub (I did drop it a couple of months ago and it rattles now). :-(
I carry an old spare powered hub. Connected that and then found the PCtoTV Convertor would not put out a picture. Tried everything I could think of but no video. Had to do the whole night without video.
On getting home I connected an external screen to the VGA output and it was OK. Felt a sense of relief that the computer output was OK. Tried connecting my PCtoTV Convertor to my home TV with both Composite video as well as S-Video and no picture.
Looks like a visit to Maplin tomorrow for a new PCtoTV Convertor ad powered hub.

Ive used tvators before, but this little gadget blows the rest away.
Best feature is its usb powered and its size, omg it's tiny.
The problem for me has been Mac having a digital mini display port adapter without s video options.
This solved it all for me thanks to the guys on the ssl forum for the tip.

That's the same box I have. I got myself a usb/mains adaptor so I didn't have to use up a vital port on the laptop.
Works great and yes it is tiny and performs really well.
Cheers,
Roy

Well, visited my local Maplin and bought the identical KWorld PCtoTV Convertor that I bought 2 1/2 years ago. But, 2 1/2 years ago it was £29.99, today the identical box was £39.99! It's no different apart from a new small users manual (1 folded page).
Hmmmmm, identical......... erm, maybe I should take it back 'cos it's not working and get my money back ***evil thoughts*** lol

What do you guys use for HDMI splitters? that's my only option because the bar is using the rest of the other types in there projectors and TV's so I don't want to un- hook all their stuff.
