So i had a bit of a scare today. I've since gathered everything is ok but still think its odd I never noticed this before. Here is what happened. After a gig I put one of my TT's back in the road case backwards, it was dark so i didn't notice, closed the lid and left if there for about a week while I enjoyed the extra space in my small room. Opened it up to discover the foam pads on the top were putting pressure on the tonearm and one was directly over the spindle. Fearing damage I hooked everything up and did some zero balance anti skate tests on the tonearm. Everything checked out and works but I noticed when the tonearm is clipped into the rest it slants down and is considerably lower than the tonearm on my other identical deck. I guess its no more than an aesthetic issue at this point but has me curious, is this typical, or has anyone else noticed this about their decks?

I'll assume (hate doing that but...) that your talk'n about 1200'z, if so did you double check to see if the tone arms were adjusted to the same height as well? If not of course that could be one reason why one is sit'n lower than the other. Just a thought...
