I currently have the Hercules RMX - i feel it is a little lacking (just not all I thought it would be). That said - which VDJ controller would you recommend? Money is not the issue. I need it for club and mobile DJ functions.

Perfect for club and mobile use, and it will be high quality.

There is also the NI Kontrol S4, but the Denon will be fully mapped for VDJ out of the box and will offer more functionality.
