1. Will VDJ Play CDG Discs From my laptops CD Drive Via the Karaoke feature in the effects menu?
2. I kept getting a error directX.dll 33 or something When I click the karaoke activate tab. So I read around and downloaded "DirectX9.oc" it is in my C drive but when I try to run it, it tells me I need to find a place to install it at/ I get a window that says: DirectX9.oc Redist localized EULAs. Where do I place the new DirectX?
Go Slow with me, I know enough about computers to be dangerous. I am Using Vista if that helps.

1. No, you must rip them to MP3+G format - Search Google for: rip mp3+g
2. Try downloading DirectX 9c from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&displaylang=en
NOTE: You do not need the karaoke plugin to play karaoke songs. It is for singer management only and is optional.

That's what I figured on question #1 but VDJ is so great I thought it might work.
