Sujet: Cueing problem with ION ICue and VDJ 5.2

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Hi folks

I have a slight problem with a new set-up of an ION Icue DJ controller, and Virtual DJ version 5.2 Pro.

The system is working fine, but the Pause buttons on the controller do a STOP function. I am not used to this.
I wanted the buttons to stop the track and on additional presses, flick between CUE points. The 'pause' buttons on the screen do this, and work fine if I click on them using my mouse. The pause buttons on the controller just stop the track. That is it. Additional presses do nothing.

In the software, in 'settings' in 'remote control' in the options panel, I only have the option to Activate the Ion controller (or not) - No option to reconfigure the controls for a different action.

Does anyone know how I can do this, please? As mentioned, my version in 5.2 Pro. I searched this forum and did a Google for an answer, but didn't find anything.

Thank you
Chris

The native mappings in VirtualDJ v5.2 Pro and the free CueLE that comes with the iCUE cannot be customised.

If you wish to customise the mappings, you will need to update to the latest VirtualDJ Pro v6.1.2: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html

Mappings in this new version can be fully customised via the new VDJscript feature.

You can download the latest trial of VirtualDJ Pro v6.1.2 from http://www.virtualdj.com/download/trial.html
