I am a LONG TIME PCDJ user and getting ready to switch to VDJ. I am also shopping for a new laptop & NS7FX for use with VDJ Professional. I once saw a thread on the best Video Cards listed but can not find it anymore. I have been searching for it in the forums (both PCDJ & VDJ) and see it referred to; "2010 video card list" but can not find the actual thread. Can someone point me in the right direction.

Thanks for the link...I have tried that link but I get an error message:
"Sorry, you don't have the necessary accreditations to view this page."
I have only used the trial version of VDJ. I have not purchased the software yet (but will soon); so I haven't registered it yet.

So I have to first purchase VDJ in order to research the best video card for use with VDJ. Is it 'legal' for someone to just 'copy/paste' to a new thread or e-mail. I just want to make the right laptop purchase. I made a mistake with my current laptop and PCDJVJ and didnt do my research and went CHEAP and have been paying for it ever since. I am not trying do to anything 'sneaky'-I have seen and read the post before; just trying to research my best options avaialble to me where I am at (South Korea-US Air Force).

I think it was restricted only as it was in a blog and may contain contact details, which are only available to licensed users.

Video Cards and Direct X
There are basically three versions of DirectX out now.. 9, 10, & 11
Windows XP came with DirectX 9, Vista came with DirectX 10, & Windows 7 came with DirectX 11.
Since VDJ was originally written to run on directx 9 (the same as MANY other programs), the "upgrade" of directX might or might not cause problems.. in the End it mainly depends on the video card, the video card driver AND how they respond to DirectX 9 commands.
