Not really sure how to describe this. I will be holding the vinyl ready to drop it at the correct moment, but when I let go of the record it plays the first half second or second of the music then jumps back to the beginning of the track - like right at the beginning of the track which could mean a few seconds of silence before it gets to the sound again, so I have to cue it up and restart the mix, hopefully before the first track runs out.
I have tried adjusting the cue setting on max or min but no difference. Doesnt do it every time but sure is annoying when it happens.
Anyone else using tc vinyl that gets this or knows how to fix?

Why not just add a Cue Point then press a key to jump to the cue point?
When i used to Cue with my vinyls (like cue up the beat) the cue point on the screen would 'drift' meaning i'd have to move my vinyl slightly to pick up the cue point, rather frustrating.
Theres no real way in VDJ to stop what i call 'Time Code Drifting' (have a search, there's about a 4 page thread i made about the issue). I have resorted to Serato, but am looking forward to seeing V7 being released!

I already have a cue point but when I release the record it doesnt start from where I am holding it - it jumps back to the start of the track (which could be minutes back if it has a long intro). I then have to manually spin the record back to my cue point or press the cue key to try again but by then I have missed the point where I wanted to begin the mix.

@Musicalcheers, what mode are you using? You could just switch to "Relative Mode" but then you use the needle drop function. I know what your talking about too. It happens to me all the time. I dont really have many cue points cause I usually start from the beginning of the track anyways.
Just a thought

I VDJScripted a way around this. When I get to my VDJ machine tongiht I'll post the script. The thought process behind it is when I press the cue key down, it turns the timecode off and plays form the cuepoint. I then drop the needle and when I release the key it turns the timecode back on and all I beautiful. Timecodes running in Smart mode because the drifting is minimized when scratching...
