I am looking to purchase so powered speakers but what do I need to be between the speakers & the RMX? I was thinking a pre-amp or amp? I have been looking and just realized that the connection directly from the RMX won't work like I do my monitors at home.
Someone fill me in, it seems like something so simple but this will be something else I need to spend my money on.

If the speakers are powered then technically you dont need anything except the correct inputs on the speakers. But something like the BBE sonic maximizers and an equalizer would be good as they'd help get you a better sound compared to the few eq controls on the speakers.
